برنج؛ میراثی که با تکنولوژی ایتالیایی‌ها زنده می‌ماند

در قلب شهر ورچلی ایتالیا Vercelli نخستین دوره جشنواره بین‌المللی برنج Risò 2025 برگزار شد؛ جایی که تاریخ، فرهنگ و فناوری در کنار هم قرار گرفتند تا داستانی تازه برای این محصول کهن رقم بزنند. در این رویداد،  FederUnacoma – انجمن ماشین‌آلات و تجهیزات کشاورزی ایتالیا – با نمایشگاهی چشم‌نواز از ماشین‌آلات تخصصی شالیزارها و یک نشست علمی درباره آینده مکانیزاسیون برنج، حضوری پررنگ داشت.

ماشین‌آلاتی با امضای هنر ایتالیایی

بازدیدکنندگان در بدو ورود، با ردیفی از ماشین‌آلات مواجه می‌شدند که هم کارآمدی مهندسی و هم سلیقه‌ هنری ایتالیایی‌ها را به رخ می‌کشیدند. از کمباین‌های مجهز به هِدهای ویژه برداشت برنج گرفته تا ماشین‌های تسطیح زمین با GPS  و حتی ربات‌های خودران برای وجین مکانیکی، همگی در خیابان «گالیله فراریز»، ورودی اصلی دهکده نمایشگاهی، جانمایی شده بودند.

«فابیو ریچی»، مدیر خوش‌ذوق فدراوناکوما و «ایران‌دوست» شناخته‌شده که چند باری هم به دعوت انجمن «اَتماک» به ایران آمده است، این چینش را طوری طراحی کرده بود که هر دستگاه مانند یک اثر هنری، هم نگاه فنی و هم نگاه فرهنگی را به خود جلب کند.

گفتگو در تالار «دوگنتسکو»؛ جایی برای آینده‌پژوهی

بخش علمی جشنواره با عنوان «نوآوری فنی در شالیزارهای برنج» به همت انجمن فدراوناکوما برگزار شد.

آلسیو بولونزی از دفتر فنی فدراوناکوما بر اهمیت «مدیریت داده‌ها» تأکید کرد: حسگرها و سامانه‌های دیجیتال نه‌تنها برای بهره‌وری اقتصادی، بلکه برای پایداری زیست‌محیطی حیاتی هستند.

لورنزو یولیانو تصویری جامع از ماشین‌آلات موجود و نوآورانه ارائه کرد، از گِریدِرهای هوشمند تا پروژه‌های پایلوت استفاده از انرژی الکتریکی در ابزارها.

آرورا گیراردلی از دانشگاه پادوا نیز پژوهش‌های خود درباره‌ رصد شوری در شالیزارهای ساحلی و اثر آن بر مزارع دلتای «پو» را معرفی کرد؛ تجربه‌ای که می‌تواند برای مناطق شمالی ایران با تهدید نفوذ آب شور بسیار آموزنده باشد.

از تاریخ تا مدرنیته؛ پلی به سوی کشاورزی پایدار

یکی از جذابیت‌های این جشنواره، نمایشگاه ماشین‌آلات تاریخی بود که نشان می‌داد صنعت مکانیزاسیون از دهه‌ها پیش همگام با برنج بوده است. این روایت تاریخی در کنار تازه‌ترین ربات‌ها، تضادی زیبا ایجاد کرده بود؛ گویی تاریخ و آینده دست در دست هم داده‌اند تا کشت برنج همچنان به‌عنوان میراثی زنده ادامه یابد.

الهام برای کشاورزان ایرانی

کشاورزان مازندرانی و گیلانی که سال‌هاست با چالش‌هایی همچون کمبود نیروی کار، آب‌بری زیاد و تغییرات اقلیمی مواجه‌اند، می‌توانند از تجربه‌های ایتالیا الهام بگیرند.

ربات‌های وجین مکانیکی می‌توانند جایگزین کار پرزحمت دستی شوند.

سیستم‌های تسطیح زمین مبتنی بر GPS مصرف آب را کاهش می‌دهند.

فناوری‌های پایش شوری برای مقابله با تهدیدهای ناشی از نفوذ آب شور دریای خزر می‌توانند کاربرد مستقیم داشته باشند.

In the heart of Vercelli, Italy, the first edition of the Risò 2025 International Rice Festival was held; an event where history, culture, and technology came together to create a new story for this ancient crop. At this event, FederUnacoma – the Italian association of agricultural machinery and equipment manufacturers – had a strong presence with a striking exhibition of specialized rice field machinery and a scientific session on the future of rice mechanization.

Machinery with the Signature of Italian Art

Upon arrival, visitors were greeted by a line of machines that showcased both the efficiency of engineering and the artistic taste of Italians. From combine harvesters equipped with special rice heads to GPS land-leveling machines, and even autonomous robots for mechanical weeding, all were positioned along Galileo Ferraris Street, the main entrance to the exhibition village.

Fabio Ricci, the tasteful manager of FederUnacoma and a well-known friend of Iran – who has visited the country several times at the invitation of the "Atmak" Association – designed the layout so that each piece of machinery appeared like a work of art, appealing to both technical and cultural perspectives.

Dialogue at the “Ducentesco Hall”: A Place for Foresight

The scientific part of the festival, entitled “Technical Innovation in Rice Fields”, was organized by FederUnacoma.

• Alessio Bolognesi of FederUnacoma’s Technical Office emphasized the importance of data management: sensors and digital systems, he noted, are essential not only for economic efficiency but also for environmental sustainability.

• Lorenzo Iuliano provided a comprehensive overview of existing and innovative machinery, from smart graders to pilot projects exploring the use of electric-powered tools.

• Aurora Ghirardelli of the University of Padua presented her research on monitoring salinity in coastal rice fields and its impact on the Po Delta – an experience that could be highly relevant for northern Iran, where rice fields face the threat of saltwater intrusion from the Caspian Sea.

From History to Modernity: A Bridge Toward Sustainable Agriculture

One of the festival’s highlights was an exhibition of historic machinery, showing that mechanization has accompanied rice cultivation for decades. Placed alongside the latest autonomous robots, this historical narrative created a beautiful contrast – as if past and future were walking hand in hand to keep rice cultivation alive as a living heritage.

Inspiration for Iranian Farmers

Farmers in Mazandaran and Gilan, who for years have struggled with challenges such as labor shortages, high water consumption, and climate change, can draw inspiration from Italy’s experience.

• Mechanical weeding robots can replace labor-intensive manual work.

• GPS-based land-leveling systems can reduce water consumption.

• Salinity monitoring technologies can help counter the growing risk of saltwater intrusion from the Caspian Sea.
